DR. TYE LEDUC

Dr. LeDuc DC, DACBSP, CSCS is the owner and director of the Stillwater Spine and Sports Center. He graduated from Northwestern Health Science University in 2001. Dr. LeDuc is the first Diplomate in Chiropractic Sports Medicine from the American Board of Sports Physicians in the state of Montana. He is also the first chiropractor in Montana to provide IMPACT software for concussion screening. Dr. LeDuc was also proud to be part of a multi disciplinary team of physicians to help establish post concussion guidelines for the Save the Brain Concussion Project in Kalispell Montana.  Other certifications include NSCA, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Impairment and Disability Evaluator, and Certified Kinesio® Taping Practitioner. Dr. LeDuc specializes in treating sports injuries. He also specializes in many forms of soft tissue treatments and utilizes many different techniques including transverse friction massage, muscle and fascial release, as well as being trained in Graston® and Trigger Point Dry Needling.

Stillwater Spine & Sports Center Inc. is also happy to announce the introduction of Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy to the Flathead Valley. Shockwave therapy is applied for chronic tendon and soft tissue pathology. There are several studies that document the efficacy of ESWT.

Dr. LeDuc understands the need for specific functional rehabilitation that include soft tissue treatment, joint assessment/ mobilization and specific functional therapeutic exercise routines to keep both athletes and general patients healthy and performing at optimum levels.

Dr. LeDuc has served 18 years on the Flathead Valley Football Board and provides sideline injury support and care to these young athletes. Dr. LeDuc worked as a treating physician for seven years at professional football ball player Larry Fitzgerald strength and conditioning camp. He assisted in diagnosing; treating and aiding post work out recovery to many NFL players at these camps. Dr. LeDuc is part of the United States Olympic Committee Volunteer Physician Group. He has completed rotations at the Olympic training center at Colorado Springs, Colorado in June of 2011, 2016, Chula Vista in 2012, and Lake Placid 2019. 

 

Dr. LeDuc currently lives in Kalispell, Montana with his wife Jessica and three children Sophia, Conor, and Liam.

DR. TOM WARDEN

Dr. Tom Warden D.C. has been an associate doctor at Stillwater Spine and Sports Center since graduating from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2008. He was born and raised in Butte, Montana where he did his undergraduate studies at Montana Tech. Following high school he spent four years in the United States Marine Corps. After serving in the Marine Corps he worked in the construction trades for 13 years. He has participated in community activities such as providing care for participants in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day walk for the Cure while in Minnesota and locally helped perform physicals for The Flathead Valley Little Guy Football.

 

Dr. Warden was first interested in becoming a chiropractor when he was in middle school. He witnessed the improvement in the quality of his mother’s life chiropractic care provided after she sustained a serious injury to her low back while working.
Dr. Warden understands that each person is an individual and therefore needs to have the treatment plan tailored to their individual needs. He uses soft tissue techniques such as myofascial release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, and transverse friction massage in combination with chiropractic adjusting to provide relief from both chronic and acute injuries. He will provide simple therapeutic exercises to assist in the healing process and to strengthen muscular deficiencies to help reduce the risk of future re-injury.

DR. JOHN OGDEN

Dr. John Ogden D.C. has been an associate doctor at Stillwater Spine and Sports Center since graduating from Western States University in 2013. He attended Flathead High School and was a stand out athlete in multiple sports. Following high school, he played football at University of Montana where a career ending injury brought him into the chiropractic setting and inspired him to help others in the way he had been.

 

He earned his Exercise Science degree at UM. Dr. Ogden approaches each patient as a unique problem and tailors his treatment plans specifically for that individual. In office, he uses chiropractic adjusting, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, myofascial release, transverse friction, and muscle facilitation techniques that aid in his patients’ rehabilitation. Also, he gives his patients the self-help tools for outside the office, including: strengthening regimens, proprioceptive training, stretching exercises, and ergonomic training that will speed his patients’ recoveries and prevent future re-injury.

 

Outside of work, Dr. Ogden enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelly, and daughter, Nora. He is an avid outdoorsmen who spends most his leisure time hunting and fishing throughout Montana.

DR. SHELTON TODD

Dr. Shelton Todd, D.C. is a Montana native from right here in the Flathead Valley. He graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2022 with a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree and an emphasis in Sports Medicine with Magna Cum Laude honors. He attended Glacier High School where he competed in multiple sports, and continued on to throw the javelin throughout his collegiate career at Sacramento State and The University of Montana. Throughout his athletic career, he endured multiple injuries that led him to the chiropractic profession. 

 

Dr. Todd utilizes an evidence-based approach specifically tailored to each individual. He specializes in treating sports related injuries and does so using a variety of techniques. He is trained in spinal and extremity mobilization and adjusting techniques, myofascial release, transverse friction massage, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, various taping techniques, therapeutic exercise programs, and is certified in functional dry needling. 

 

Dr. Todd loves the outdoors and everything that Montana has to offer. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and hiking throughout our great state. He is very happy to be back in his home town with his wife, Angela and black lab, Sitka.

DR. JASON HIRTZEL

Dr. Jason Hirtzel, DPT, is a physical therapist from Buffalo, New York. He graduated from University at Buffalo with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2018. He has a background in geriatrics and has experience working with people challenged by neurologic disease. As an active person himself, Jay enjoys working with people who want to return to their sports and hobbies that bring them fulfillment. His philosophy is all about building a relationship with the patient and blending function with fitness, teaching tools and strategies to help the patient meet their goals, and to get and stay healthy. 


Personally, Jay attends church regularly and spends free time trail running, rock climbing, and backpacking. He is newer to the valley, but moved here for the outdoors and to explore the northwest with his fiancée and their four legged companion, Hope.

DR. JENNIFER GAUTHIER

Dr. Jennifer Gauthier, DPT is a Montana native from Columbus.  She graduated from Montana State University with her Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance – Exercise Science in 2012.  Jennifer has always been drawn to the health field and chose to pursue physical therapy after discovering her passion to help others function at their best with conservative care.  She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Montana in 2015.  She has since completed advanced training in vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, and Functional Dry Needling.  After practicing in Livingston, she relocated to the Flathead Valley to continue expanding her orthopedic and sports therapy skills while taking advantage of the great recreation opportunities in northwest Montana. 

 

Jennifer enjoys establishing positive and lasting relationships with patients.  She believes pain is multi-factorial and requires a holistic treatment approach with a combination of education, exercise, and hands-on soft tissue work and joint mobilization.  She believes in not only addressing your injuries or symptoms, but also in educating you about the causes of dysfunction and preventative measures you can take to lead a more active and healthy lifestyle. 

 

In her spare time, Jennifer likes to spend time outside with her fiancé, Aaron, and dogs, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, boating, and fishing.

DR. ZACHARY WEIJOHN

Dr. Zachary Weijohn, DPT is a native of the Northwest and was raised on a small farm in Eastern Washington. He attended Walla Walla University before earning his doctorate in physical therapy at Loma Linda University in 2017. Zachary‘s passion is to help those suffering in pain are those who feel trapped by physical limitations. He loves the opportunity that physical therapy offers to make lasting and important connections with people. He believes strongly in facilitating the body‘s natural ability to recover from injuries.

 

Zachary practiced physical therapy for several years in Apple Valley, California. He has worked with a wide variety of patients especially enjoys working on balance and fall prevention. He has worked with a wide array of neurological and orthopedic conditions such as Parkinson’s, cerebral vascular accidents, spinal cord injuries, and post surgical recovery. He has also worked with a variety of orthopedic and chronic pain conditions and believes strongly in the importance of a multi factorial approach to dealing with pain. He believes in using a combination of therapeutic exercise, soft tissue techniques, joint mobilization‘s, and education so people can achieve lasting health.

 

In his spare time Zachary loves to go hiking with his lovely wife, Enjoy gardening, mountain unicycling and studying his Bible.

DR. JAZPER TORRES

Dr. Jazper Torres, ND, DC is a licensed Naturopathic Physician, and a licensed Chiropractic Physician. Before moving back to his hometown and joining the Stillwater Spine & Sports team, Dr. Torres spent 5 years in private practice in Seattle, WA. Dr. Torres attended undergraduate school at the University of Montana and medical school at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, OR, graduating in 2013. As a part of his training, Dr. Torres gained extensive integrative primary care experience through clinical rotations in a variety of outpatient settings throughout the greater Portland area. Dr. Torres was awarded and completed a nine month rigorous clinical rotation in cardiopulmonary medicine at the Center for Natural Medicine: Heart & Lung Clinic, the first naturopathic clinic in America to be recognized as a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), under the guidance of doctors and renowned naturopathic cardiologists Dr. Martin Milner, ND and Dr. Jeremy Mikolia, ND. Furthermore he completed a nine month rigorous clinical rotation in Men's health and Minor Surgery under the guidance of Dr. Dohn Kruschwitz MD, ND. Dr. Torres rounded out the rest of his clinical rotations with advanced gynecology, injection therapies, and general family medicine. 

Since graduating from NUNM, Dr. Torres has completed advanced trainings furthering his knowledge and experience in integrative medicine, autoimmune disease, women's health, gastroenterology, and endocrinology. Currently Dr. Torres is completing course work towards his certification in Advanced Metabolic Endocrinology from The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and the University of South Florida, School of Medicine. 

Dr. Torres provides standard of care comprehensive healthcare to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with acute and chronic health problems, can prescribe most pharmaceuticals, order and interpret labs and imaging, diagnose and treat disease, and act as your primary care physician. As a Naturopathic Physician, Dr. Torres uses evidence-based medicine to risk stratify patients and to develop treatment plans which may include conventional treatments and / or complementary alternative treatments. He is proficient in electrocardiogram (EKG), exercise treadmill stress testing, spirometry, and minor surgery. 

In addition to general practice, Dr. Torres specializes in endocrinology, autoimmune disease, chronic illness, digestive disorders and both men's and women's health. He takes an integrative/functional approach to medicine that seeks more profound and sustainable outcomes by looking beyond the mask of symptoms to understand underlying imbalances that cause illness. 

Dr. Torres is currently a licensed Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine in Montana and Washington, and a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic in Montana.

ASHLI SCALES

Office Manager

Ashli graduated form the University of Montana in May 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance and minor in Spanish. She received her Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association in February 2009. She has been working at Stillwater Spine and Sports Center since receiving her Strength and Conditioning certification.

 

Ashli enjoys swimming, tennis cross-country skiing, and spending time with her family and friends.

JESSICA LEDUC

Office Staff

Jessica was born and raised in Montana. She is a graduate of Flathead High School and Flathead Valley Community College. She has worked behind the scenes at Stillwater Spine and Sports Center for 14 years.

 

Outside of the clinic she can be found trying to keep up with she and Dr. LeDuc’s three children, Sophia, Conor and Liam. As a family they enjoy all that the Flathead has to offer; including, boating on Flathead Lake, golfing, skiing, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
